About Zinc Sulfate
Zinc sulfate is the inorganic compound with the equation ZnSO4, just like any of the 3 hydrates. These are inorganic compounds wherein the largest oxoanion is sulfate, and the heaviest atom not in an oxoanion is a transition metal.
1. Manufacturing Process:
Zinc Sulfate Heptahydrate is produced by reacting zinc carbonate with dilute sulfuric acid.
ZnCO3 + H2SO4 + 6 H2O → ZnSO4·7 H2O + CO2
2. Application:
There are a large number of Zinc Sulfate Heptahydrate usages in manifold industries like production and agriculture. However, fertilizer applications and feed supplements together with viscose rayon production are its main purposes.
